Senior Graphic Designer (Fixed Term)

THE OPPORTUNITY: We’re on the lookout for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our award-winning creative studio on a fixed-term basis, stepping in for our brilliant team member who is heading off on parental leave.
If successful you’ll find yourself based in NZME’s purpose-built CBD HQ, working across a raft of our leading brands such as ZM, Flava, Radio Hauraki, The Alternative Commentary Collective, NZ Herald and also our commercial clients. Your projects will involve design for print, digital, outdoor, experiential, content, radio and video.
ABOUT YOU:

A qualification in Graphic Design
A minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior level in an advertising, design or media environment in New Zealand
Strong proficiency in Full Adobe CC and digital design skills; Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Google Web Design / HTML5 and in an ideal world, story boarding and motion graphics.
Experience with crafting ideas and confidence in presenting them to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
An impressive portfolio that demonstrates your talent across all platforms
A can-do, positive outlook and willingness to go the extra mile

Candidates must have the capability to tailor material to specific audiences where required and be able to think conceptually to meet internal and external client briefs. You will have led the design across multiple large brand and tactical campaigns. You’ll ace the design, can roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, and be a real team player in a high-performing, studio team.
