To deliver on our plans we need someone with drive, passion and a high level of commercial and strategic capability who wants to be empowered to make a difference and deliver growth by managing our wholesale relationship with our Major Partner.
The National Account Manager is professional, proactive and collaborative in their approach, competent influencing both strategic and operational decisions to deliver mutually agreed targets.
The National Account Manager shows initiative in developing and owning collaborative relationships with our major partners across New Zealand. They work cross-functionally to see initiatives landed, from conception to execution.
The National Account Manager leverages their knowledge of proven account tactics and strategies, as well as their own entrepreneurial spirit, to create and implement initiatives which drive performance and grow the business in their channels.

In this sweet role you will know you are successful in your role when:

  • All Major Partner accounts meet or exceed budgets and projections.
  • Key initiatives with our Partners are developed and implemented, and achieve the annual account growth target and other non-financial KPIs, and targets
  • All campaigns and trade spend are managed and deliver agreed sales and profit targets.
  • A Joint Business Plan is developed for key accounts and implemented, achieving a 95% completion rate every year.
  • Our forecasting and demand planning processes allow the manufacturing teams sufficient time to plan and execute the order
  • Krispy Kreme and our Major Partner have a voice within each other’s organisations to drive success and develop strategies which grow both businesses
  • You build the channel by approaching opportunities with a strategic lens that links through to the business KPIs
  • All product and campaign recommendations are successfully delivered to our major partner and implemented to mutual benefit.
  • Limited Time Only campaigns are successfully executed at all stages; ideation, planning, implementation and reporting.
  • Customer satisfaction scores for our major partner consistently meet or exceed agreed levels.
  • Krispy Kreme’s in-store execution is continuously improved and maintained to brand guidelines
What you can bring to the team

  • General business planning and financial planning acumen and the ability to see the big business issues for the client and help the client manage their business.

  • The ability to analyse and use data and business metrics to create and achieve business outcomes.
  • An understanding of the importance of being accountable for the performance of all aspects of the relationship with our major Partner.
  • The ability to create understandable and influential pitch documents and to use them to the benefit of Krispy Kreme and our Major Partner.
  • Ability to build and successfully manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders that deliver business results
  • An understanding of how initiatives are brought to life and an ability to influence at all levels of the business to ensure this happens effectively
  • A proactive team player who enjoys finding solutions that develop and strengthen relationships
  • Strong collaborative and creative skills.
  • A commitment to working with a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Integrity and a commitment to ethical operations.
  • Confidence, passion and enthusiasm about the customer experience and the Krispy Kreme Brand.
  • Valid driver’s license
Education
  • Tertiary Qualification in Commerce, Business Development, or Marketing or equivalent industry experience
Experience
  • 4-5 years of Major Account / Category Management
