About the role
We are seeking a qualified Electrician with experience in electrical fitting to join our Northern Regional Team, based in Tawa. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction of electrical equipment, as well as carrying out electrical substation construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.

Skills /Experience
Essential:

• Registered Electrician with current practicing licence
• SCADA and protection wiring.
• Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (Electrical)
• Demonstrable experience in construction of HV equipment and an understanding of network.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings.
• Relevant network certifications
• Current and valid driver's licence

Desirable:

• Attainment or study towards Level 5 Qualification in Electrical Supply (Electrical) or equivalent
• Class 2 heavy traffic licence
• Forklift licence
