In this role, you will contribute to project delivery including design (concept to details), and technical advisory of industrial and renewable power clients (e.g. wind, Solar, large scale battery energy storage system (BESS), and hydroelectricity).

In this role, you will contribute to project delivery including design (concept to details), and technical advisory of industrial and renewable power clients (e.g. wind, Solar, large scale battery energy storage system (BESS), and hydroelectricity).
The role:
- Assist the Business Group Leader and Technical Directors to develop and manage Power & Future Energy Business Plan for the New Zealand and wider APAC region.
- Lead and contribute to business development activities including liaising with clients, building new and maintaining existing client relationships with industrial and renewable power clients including wind (onshore/offshore), Solar, large scale battery energy storage system (BESS), and hydroelectricity.
- Design and deliver all aspects of projects associated with feasibility, concept, reference, detailed, construction, commissioning and post-construction phases.
- Primary focus is projects in the New Zealand/Pacific region.
- Opportunities to work across the wider APAC region.
- Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects.
- Deliver innovative and robust technical solutions to projects, appropriately involving the power Service Line Leaders/Coordinators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years industry experience (consulting environment preferable)
- Project Management experience, Project Management Certified (preferred)
- Design Management experience (Preferred)
- CPEng or actively working towards obtainment
- Having a robust working knowledge of general Industrial Electrical, supply, distribution, instrumentation, control, and automation.
- Knowledgeable and competent user of key transmission and distribution design software.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Sound technical understanding of industrial power and renewable energy opportunities
- Ability to work independently to high quality.
- Preparing / leading job-winning proposals and marketing pursuits
