Community Mental Health Nurse – Mid North

About the Role
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Mental Health Nursing to join our Mid North Mental Health team. We provide assessment and diagnosis, treatment, advice and referral to those affected by mental health and alcohol and other drug problems.
About the Location
We have bases in Kaikohe, Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands, supporting patients and their families across the Mid North rohe.
About you
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current practicing certificate, as well as a strong desire and ability to work as part of a positive and productive multi-disciplinary team
- Hold a current, clean full NZ drivers licence
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
