We are partnered with a reputable Civil Contractor with a strong presence right across the South Island who are looking for their next Project Manager. You will be managing a strong pipeline of work primarily across Civil Works and Earthworks.

Multiple roles + locations on offer – Canterbury, Timaru, Central Otago, Southland, and Nelson.

For a driven and ambitious individual that wants to take their career further, training and development will be provided which could take you in the direction of Contracts and Construction Manager.

The role will cover:

• Large scale earthworks
• 3 waters and drainage
• Subdivision construction

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with staff, contractors, and subcontractors for seamless project delivery.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, NZ 3910, and environmental regulations.
• Provide clear and concise progress reports to stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience delivering civil projects on time, within scope, and budget.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Financial acumen and organisational discipline.
• Focus to Health and Safety and Quality.
• Current driver’s license.
• Shows initiative, motivation, and has a drive to succeed.
