We are currently seeking to employ a Business Unit General Manager - Reactive Services team based in Wellington. In this position you will lead operations, achieve annual objectives, and ensure contract deliverables. This role focuses on managing client relationships and collaborating across Business Units to enhance network performance and reliability.

The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like:

• Ensure fault service level agreements and budget targets are met.
• Maximize staff productivity and minimize faults.
• Align maintenance, connections, VAS, and faults for optimal efficiency.
• Oversee operations and drive growth, turnover, and profit goals.
• Foster partnerships with key stakeholders and explore business improvements.
• Develop strong relationships with Wellington Electricity and regional leaders.
• Uphold legal, regulatory, and compliance standards for governance.

Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, you will have:

• 10+ years managing large, complex teams in dynamic settings.
• Expertise in reactive environments, crisis management, and distribution networks.
• Strong network in high-voltage power and maintenance sectors.
• Engineering degree or diploma; electrical/professional registration preferred.
• Experienced in unionised environments.
