TEST OPERATOR
For the satellite product lines of BRADFORD ENGINEERING We are looking for a Test Operator to join Bradford Engineering B.V., a Bradford Space subsidiary, based in the Netherlands and manufacturer of products for the space industry all around the world. Your role The function is directed to control (and possibly monitoring) of the quality. When testing and analysis it is necessary that consistency is recognized. There may be time constraint. Continued accuracy is required.
Context of the Function: Test Operator generates, by carrying out testing, data on which can be prove the products complies according specifications of the product, Essential characteristics of a Test Operator are: accurate, careful, consistent, objective and independent. The Test Operator is responsible for building, executing and reporting the electrical and mechanical tests according to pre-established, approved and released procedures. Test Operator works closely with the project teams to validate new procedures, test setups and method of documenting of new or improved processes
Main Tasks:
The assigned main tasks are but not limited to: Execution of electrical and mechanical testing Validate procedures and test setups, in collaboration with System engineer Reporting test results according required documentation. Detect ways for improvement of test setups and processes and work together with System Engineering to implement. Collaboration with the Operations Manager / Operational Planner for day and weekly planning
Secundary Tasks:
Test operator shall support the System Engineers on demand by direct manager. Strongly valued/desired skills Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in (technical) English (C2). Experience in the spaceflight industry, preferably as a satellite equipment supplier. Knowledge on ECSS and Space Design Process Flow (EQSR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, TRB, DRB). Knowledge on the current technology status and market related to spaceflight components. Intermediate in Dutch (B1). Driving license and willingness to travel on occasional basis.
