You will make a difference as Software Test Automation Engineer R&D. Here’s how:
As Software Test Automation Engineer R&D, you are responsible for test design/execution and, development of frameworks, applications, and tools for automating the test process for complex software systems. Furthermore, you'll automate tests and contribute to improvements in the CI/CD pipeline. You play a key role in the development and verification phases of software and your activities include:
As Software Test Automation Engineer R&D, you are responsible for test design/execution and, development of frameworks, applications, and tools for automating the test process for complex software systems. Furthermore, you'll automate tests and contribute to improvements in the CI/CD pipeline. You play a key role in the development and verification phases of software and your activities include:
- Create test designs, implementation and execution of tests, and reporting;
- Design & development of test frameworks, applications, and tools;
- Development and automation of (Gherkin style) test cases;
- Identify issues & bottlenecks in the development & test infrastructure as well as propose and implement solutions;
- Work with CI/CD Engineers, Configuration Managers, and Build Engineers to optimize the software build, test, deployment, and release pipeline.
Are you someone who…
- Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field;
- Has 4-8 years of experience in software engineering and/or software testing in a technical/R&D context (mandatory);
- Currently works and resides in the Netherlands;
- Has experience with Robot Framework/Python and/or Spec Flow/C#;
- Is familiar with Behavior Driven Development (BDD);
- Used to work in a structured process and quality management systems;
- Is analytical, result-oriented, creative, and a good communicator;
- Has a quality mindset and worked in a professional development environment;
- Has an excellent understanding of the English language.
