Together with your direct colleagues, you will handle all operational tasks related to sea freight, air freight and customer service for shipments within the EU. You are the point of contact for any questions or challenges, both for your team members and for clients and our international colleagues. The work enjoyment and tasks within your team are further enhanced by your coaching leadership. You have a clear overview of the workload and ensure effective task distribution so that our customers receive the best service. You are on it.

How you do this? With your experience as a team leader, you are able to maintain oversight, delegate tasks and further build a structured department. Your knowledge and expertise in freight forwarding enable you to inspire and develop your team even more. You are the approachable go-to person, offering handy tips and tricks! As for our customers? They find in you a sparring partner and problem solver. Relationships are strengthened, and our business continues to grow. Together we move forward.

You achieve this by:

• working operationally with your team to organize various shipments (sea freight, air freight, road transport, and breakbulk) for clients in the oil & gas industry;
• being responsible for timely planning and feasibility of shipments;
• acting as the go-to person for escalations and problems and solving them;
• coaching your colleagues and strengthening each other as a team.

You bring

• education at MBO4 level, preferably in a logistics-related field;
• at least 5 years of leadership experience in air and/or sea freight and breakbulk shipments;
• full-time availability, 40 hours per week;
• strong language skills, with good spoken and written English.
