We serve customers throughout the EMEA/ASIA market (Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia). Key Technology BV is based in Beusichem (NL) and has sister companies in Hasselt (BE) and Walla Walla (USA), all part of the Duravant Group.

The position:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you are part of a multidisciplinary project team, in which everyone has their own responsibilities. You are responsible for designing and engineering production/process installations. Projects run from start to installation, project handover and warranty. Not only your technical knowledge will be called upon, but also your creativity, communication skills and team spirit are very important in this position!


Your tasks:

• You design the technical plan of the installations and ensure that they fit into the production line at the final location
• You design and detail the installations for our own in-house manufacturing. The production drawings are largely provided by a third party and then checked by you
• You solve problems related to the layout, design, manufacture, operation and reliability of the equipment

To perform your duties well, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

• You can work both independently and as a team member
• You have conceptual thinking skills
• You are willing to travel for work to customer sites (in the EMEA area)
• You want to see your own work immediately in our own workshop and installed at our customers' premises
• You are not afraid to get your hands dirty

Do you have the following qualifications and skills:

• MBO degree in mechanical engineering or HBO degree in the direction of engineering technology
• This position is ideal for starters or professionals with < 5 years of work experience who want to further develop within our industry

Furthermore, you have knowledge of:

• 3D drawing software, Solid Works is an advantage
• Microsoft software; Word, Excel and Power Point
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English in word and writing
• Knowledge of machinery, such as vibratory and belt conveyor systems and/or optical inspection equipment is an advantage
