To support the continued growth of Starbucks in the Netherlands, Starbucks by Alsea is recruiting a passionate Maintenance Technician who will ensure that our stores are always in top condition, allowing us to deliver the perfect coffee experience to our guests every day.

Maintenance Technician

️ What you’ll do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Facility and Maintenance Manager and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, equipment, and installations across our company-owned stores in the Netherlands. You handle the small maintenance of our equipment’s and carry out various tasks as needed, in collaboration with the Facility and Maintenance Manager.

You will play a key role in ensuring our stores operate at their best by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, all while adhering to safety and brand standards. Your duties will include:

Conducting maintenance and troubleshooting of specialized equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Performing a variety of plumbing, carpentry, and hardware-related tasks.

Diagnosing and small repairing electrical systems, including fixture replacements, wiring adjustments, adding or fixing power sockets.

Executing detailed repairs and enhancements, such as drywall patching, surface finishing, and decorative installations.

Assembling and calibrating furniture, fixtures, and operational equipment.

Diverse supporting tasks to maintain seamless store functionality.

Logging completed tasks and contributing to the improvement of maintenance processes.

Proactively identifying and reporting any challenges or potential improvements in our stores.

???? What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from candidates who have:

A technical qualification (Mbo level 3/4 in electrotechnics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar.)

At least 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a multi-site environment such as hospitality, retail, or hotels.

A valid driver’s license (category B) and willingness to travel across the Netherlands.
