Sentry X is a clinical stage biotech company based at Utrecht Science Park. We develop implantable anesthetics: a gamechanger in pain treatment after major surgery. We are a scale up company consisting of a growing team of approximately 25 people. We are enthusiastic and very motivated by a common drive and goal to get our product to the patients.
We look for a dedicated team player that is open to learn on the job and can accurately perform routine manufacturing of our innovative biomaterials. These biomaterials are the main ingredients for our implantable anesthetic product.
About the position
As a manufacturing operator you will run the routine production of our biomaterials. You must work accurately according to protocols and adhere to our quality and safety standards. You report to the Manager Manufacturing. Our operations run during regular office hours (no shifts).
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Perform the routine manufacturing of biomaterials.
- Adherence to the safety and quality systems of Sentry X.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.

About you
You are comfortable performing routine work and following protocols. You are accurate, precise and organized, and you like to work in a lab environment. You have a can-do mentality and assess yourself as a team player and someone that fits a growing and learning organization.
You need a working and thinking level, equivalent to the Dutch MBO3 level. MBO courses like ‘Allround Laborant’ and ‘Chemisch-fysisch Analist’ will be helpful to give you a great start in the position. Also ‘Operator’ courses give you a head start. You either have some years of working experience or are in your early career stage.
Professional proficiency in English is required. We look for candidates that live in the Netherlands.
