International Sales Manager

Bio Trading is our EU manufacturer of Ready Prepared Culture Media. The state of the art production facility is designed and equipped to meet the pharmaceutical regulations for Ready Prepared Culture Media. Bio Trading's laboratory is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (Reg. No. L588, Testing) in accordance with the recognized international standard ISO/IEC 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories". The accredited methodology is in accordance with ISO 11133.
The policy is to achieve the highest level of product quality by ensuring that processes and services are continually improved and are also in compliance with international standards, FDA/c GMP/GLP guidelines and customer requirements.
The role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Account Manager for the South of the Netherlands, who will be responsible for building and strengthening our market position in your region. You will work on acquiring new customers as well as maintaining and developing existing relationships.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the growth of the company by achieving the annual sales goal established for the territory.
- Be active within the territory by visiting customer sites and representing the company at regional associations, trade shows and symposiums.
- Identify, prospect and win new customers in the territory.
- Responsible for the overall management of accounts in your territory (contracting, pricing, negotiation, logistics and reporting).
- Establish regional action plans to support Analytichem in achieving its sales targets.
- Work closely with Customer Service to ensure the markets receive the service they need
- Support the implementation and successful execution of all sales programs and marketing campaigns.
- Act as the point of contact for all technical and customer support issues and guide the customer through to resolution.
- Continually expand knowledge of products, customers, and sales techniques
- Provide market intelligence to management and peers.
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, sales, management or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management or similar
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook);
- Practical knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
