Inside Sales Specialist

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and revenue generation for our forwarding services. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, and proactively identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the forwarding industry in The Netherlands.
Your responsibilities and tasks will be:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients by understanding their unique requirements and providing them with tailored solutions.
  • Identify and engage with potential new clients through proactive sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the forwarding industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company, consistently striving for excellence.
You will bring the following requirements:
  • Previous experience in inside sales, preferably in the forwarding industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry in The Netherlands.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
