Merit Medical EMEA, (~400 employees in 20+ countries) is headquartered in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
We are now looking for a HR Assistant to provide support in various areas of Human Resources.

JOB DUTIES

Assist with the administration and execution of HR programs, policies and procedures including but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave, occupational health, performance and talent management, recognition, and recruitment
Ensure a smooth onboarding process of new hires
Handle routine employment-related queries from employees, applicants, and supervisors/managers
Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data in Workday
Perform other related duties and tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and at least two years of HR Support experience.
General knowledge of all facets of the human resource function in organizations
Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Solid organizational skills and the ability to work under strict time constraints
Good IT skills, experience with Workday or other HR systems
Excellent communication skills with people from different levels in the organisation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate teamwork capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
Fluent and professional level of English, any other European language is an advantage

LOCATION

Maastricht office: 5 days per week (hybrid possible after successful induction period)
