In Danfoss Climate Solutions, we are looking for a Field Service Application Engineer Benelux to complete our team in the Netherlands in Rotterdam.
The Field Service Application Engineer will be responsible for problem solving installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), and district heating systems. This role involves hands-on technical work, training and teaching clients, and managing product-related tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• You install and commission HVAC, BMS, and district heating systems. You perform system tests to ensure optimal performance. Also, you are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
• Provide hands-on training and technical support to clients and internal teams. For this, you develop training materials and conduct training sessions.
• You work closely with clients and our Sales Engineers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions. Additionally, you prepare and present technical proposals and product demonstrations.
• Ultimately, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction is your goal.

Background & Skills

For this role, you have technical training or a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable education and already have some experience in a field service application role directly interacting with customers.
Additionally, we are looking for:

• Technical experience in HVAC/ BMS, preferably with experience in both residential and commercial sectors.
• Fluent skills in Dutch, English
• Project leading skills
• High customer-orientation as well as very good communication skills
