About your role
Fairphone’s sales strategy is to successfully sell its products to consumers, companies and organizations who are keen to support our movement towards a fairer electronics value chain. This not only means sales through Fairphone’s own webshop but also cooperating with like-minded partners in the industry, such as operators, distributors, retailers/e-tailers: this is what our Partners Sales team focuses on.We are excited to bring onboard a hands-on Account Manager for our Business to Consumer team for the UK and Nordics market. From day one, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing our partnerships to achieve Fairphone's sales goals. Drawing from your prior experience, you will quickly engage prospects and stakeholders.
For this role, we are looking for an Account Manager to look after the growth of one of our key markets in Europe: the UK and Nordics.

Your Responsibilities
-
Effectively build strategic partnerships with new and existing partners
-
Ensure accurate forecasting through proper funnel management
-
Present the Fairphone story and product portfolio with enthusiasm
-
Represent Fairphone at conferences and events
-
Develop the Go To Market plan aligned with Fairphone's mission and your territory goals
-
Understand target consumers and the role of sales channels and marketing
-
Prepare sales proposals and reports
-
Collaborate with internal teams for seamless delivery and service coordination
Your skills & experience
-
Experience in business development and/or account management in the European mobile phone industry, preferably in the consumer business segment or in UK/Nordics
-
Passion for sales and understanding of the smartphones or consumer electronics industry
-
Strong planning skills and ability to drive sales initiatives
-
Experience building strategic partnerships with new and existing accounts
-
Cross-functional team collaboration experience
-
Familiarity with Google Docs and Sheets for business communication and case development
-
Experience selling to direct partners and via distributors
-
Hands-on, organized, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Flexible work location - we are hybrid-friendly. We also contribute up to €250 for your home office set-up. Please note: even though we are hybrid-friendly, we can only hire people who live in the Netherlands or are open to moving to the Netherlands and hold a Dutch citizen service number (BSN).

Relocation Support - Fairphone will reimburse the cost of a one-way train (if applicable) ticket to the Netherlands, arrange an appointment at the municipality and provide all the necessary information so that your arrival and settlement in the Netherlands will be smooth and pleasant!

Public transport allowance – we fully cover your 2nd class commute from your home to the office.

AND Bike allowance – we support you with a bike purchase of up to €300, and you’ll have a yearly repair budget of up to €80, too!
