Your job as Station Manager / Variety Specialist Breeding at Rijk Zwaan.
As Station Manager / Variety Specialist Breeding, you manage a team on the Rijk Zwaan station and support the breeding team by describing first 2 phases and collecting the information on the Moroccan market.
You organize breeding trials, evaluate them and collect data at crucial trial stages, providing the breeding team with the feedback. By frequently interacting with growers you create a deep understanding of current and future needs from their perspective and thus help the breeding team to define short, medium and long-term goals. You closely collaborate with Trial Coordinators, Sales Representatives and Crop Specialists to be well-informed about opportunities and bottle-necks in the crop. You are responsible for the station and you manage the team and activities in the station.

Besides, your other activities include:
- Active support to breeding teams with the implementation of newly developed market strategies and analysis tools
- Daily guidance and support of Trial Assistants
- Data and trends report in documentation or presentations.

You are good at managing a team as well as enjoying motivating colleagues.
You are a proactive team player with strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude. You work in an organised manner and are happy to take the initiative in further streamlining the processes.
You like to analyse and are acquainted with data analyses. You have a strong product knowledge and are able to take decisions in preparation for the trials. As you will work in international environment, fluent English is required for the role.
