Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team, working directly with US clients while based in Mexico. This role requires a passionate developer who can maintain excellent communication standards and deliver high-quality code consistently on Node Js projects. (We are currently partnered with agencies in the US/Canada to help with engineering).
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to full-stack development projects
• Maintain consistent communication with US clients and team members
• Provide detailed scrum updates at the beginning and end of each day
• Implement and maintain comprehensive unit testing strategies
• Perform thorough cross-browser testing and ensure responsive design
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Push code updates daily with proper documentation
• Keep task management systems updated in real-time

Technical Requirements

• Extremely strong expertise in Node, Next Js and Type Script
• Extensive experience with Postgre SQL and Prisma ORM
• Proficiency in Zod for schema validation
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and modern web development practices
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and best practices
• Version control proficiency (Git)
• Experience with rpc, grpc or trpc

Soft Skills & Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong time management abilities and self-motivation
• Detail-oriented with a focus on code quality and testing
• Ability to work in Mexico's time zone (CST/CDT)
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience working with US clients preferred
• Been a previous team lead (Bonus)
