We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as a Engineering Manager, based in our Apodaca Plant (Apodaca, Nuevo León, México).

As Engineering Manager you will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects, supervising teams, develop strategies, manage budgets, and ensure successful project execution. Knowledge to continually improve product lines and plant efficiency.

Your Task will be

• Identify, plan and control improvement projects of the company, generating economic savings reflected in the financial statement financial savings reflected in the financial statement, design and monitoring of strategies and training to create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement a culture of continuous improvement under the principles of Operational Excellence of the Shingo model.
• Design, analyze, manage, optimize, and maintain the plant's production systems to increase productivity and quality of the products to increase productivity and quality of processes and products.
• One of the main objectives is the delegate activities and responsibility to all the team according with the role in the organization.
• Develop the communication skills for the report and continuous communication with the upper management and directors.

Be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as Engineering Manager in the electronics automotive industry.
• Previous experience as a member of the electronic automotive industry (SMT, Backend, assembly) is required.
• Knowledge: Automotive Customer's requirements: GM, FORD, Estellantis, BMW, VOLVO, AUDI. SMT boards, high-tech electronic equipment processes, conformal coating processes, vision, laser, soldering and electronic paste processes, and final product assembly processes. 8D’s, control de procesos, FIMA, basics of continuous improvement, materials, quality.
