Waiter & Waiter Assistant (International Cruise Liner - RCG)

As a Waiter / Waiter Assistant, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team, working across various venues to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your attention to detail, dedication to excellent service, and passion for hospitality will help ensure every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality food and beverage service in multiple restaurant venues, including the Main Dining Room, Specialty Restaurants, and Room Service.
- Work in a rotating service schedule, rotating between casual dining, specialty venues, and room service.
- Assist the Waiter team, ensuring efficient service delivery to guests, and maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their assigned seats, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present food and beverage menus, recommend dinner courses and wine pairings, and respond to guests’ questions regarding the menu.
- Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your assigned station, including table settings, chairs, and side stands, adhering to company standards.
- Observe guests and anticipate their needs, responding to additional requests and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Participate in dining room entertainment and activities, including theme night parades and special events.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your service skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and contribute to a clean and safe working environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, luxury cruise ship, or fine dining restaurant, with a focus on both restaurant and alcoholic beverage service.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service, with the ability to explain, recommend, and upsell drinks to guests.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, with a keen understanding of guest preferences and needs.
- Experience in both restaurant and bar service, including taking food and beverage orders, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple orders and maintaining top-tier service.
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- No visible tattoos.
