Role Description & Responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies and plans whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, and non-functional testing.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues while working closely with developers to reproduce, debug, resolve issues and ensure timely resolution of defects and validate fixes through retesting.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts as well as integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and reliable software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• At least 4-5 years of experience in software quality engineering, with a strong focus on test automation and quality assurance.
• Working knowledge and experience of programming/scripting skills (especially Java & OOP; Python), & test automation tools & frameworks (Selenium; JUnit).
• Strong experience with source code management tools (Bit Bucket; Perforce) & CI/CD tools (Jenkins CI/CD).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
