Business Need / Purpose of Role


Reporting to BPO AR / AP Supervisor APAC the role shall be primarily managing the daily operations functions and workload management and distribution within the BPO MY accounts team.


The Accounts Payable is responsible for timely and accurately processing of invoices and payments, must ensure that corporate procedures, policies and guidelines are adhered to when delivering the services, whilst simultaneously advising management of changes that affect the delivery and cost of services, and provide suggestions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services being delivered. The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for driving and promoting service excellence through teamwork and quality management.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable, including processing invoices for payment, recording invoices, assisting with Vendor reconciliations.
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm the correct general ledger account codes.
• Investigates and resolves problems associated with the processing of invoices.
• Handles all vendor correspondence via email.
• Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule.
• Prepares wire transfers and ACH transactions online.
• Reconciles various accounts on a weekly/ monthly basis, bringing any discrepancies to the management's attention.
• Maintain a filing system for financial information, records, and documents to ensure readily available information.
• Assist in compiling information and preparing responses to auditors during the annual external audit.
• Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in any field.
• Fluent English
• Attention to Detail and Problem Solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good level of Numeracy
• A confident and outgoing individual with a positive working attitude.
• A fast learner to web systems application and able to meet required datelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Min 3 years in accounting experience in large transactional business and Accounts Payable
