Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards

Ensures implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff

Examines, diagnoses and treats diseases, abnormalities, injuries and dysfunctional disorders of
the oral cavity and its associated structures

Examines patients and interpret radiographs and diagnostic tests to determine type and extent
of dental diseases and disabilities or dysfunctions

Evaluates findings and prescribe type, extent, and order of treatment, refer non dental cases to
the appropriate concerned medical specialty

Performs routine preventive, periodontal, oral surgery, endodontic, and prosthodontic
treatment and provide the necessary consultation services

Determines requirements for material, equipment, facilities, and personnel to accomplish the

Instructs dental physicians and the technicians in professional and administrative functions of

Education
Bachelor Degree in Dental Medicine
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience a Rer Bachelor
Licensure
