仕事内容:
After School Program at Capital Tokyo International School (CTIS):

• The instructor teaches beginner-level English to elementary school students using news articles, books, board games, and songs for kids.
• Students should be taught all aspects of the English language during this program: listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
• Max class size 10-12 students
• The instructor is also expected to help CTIS staff with the overall operations of the After School Program, including cleaning, organization, etc.
• Active class teaching hours are paid at a rate of 2,500 yen and clerical work hours are paid at a rate of 1,500 yen

Capital Tokyo International School is a new international school established in April 2022. The elementary school opened in April 2022, the middle school in April 2023, the kindergarten in April 2024. Our high school will open in April 2026.
The elementary and middle schools are currently IB (International Baccalaureate) candidate schools sequentially. We will continue to operate toward accreditation. Ultimately, we aim to "nurture human resources who can think and learn independently and utilize their abilities in society" through consistent education from kindergarten to high school.

- English level of CEFR C1 or higher (please submit the certificate if English is not your native language)
- A passion for teaching and supporting students
- Works proactively and always shows a positive attitude
- You must currently hold a VISA that allows you to legally work in Japan, as we do not sponsor for part-time positions or commission work

- Experience in teaching elementary students
- Experience in learning and/or teaching at an international school
- Ability to make note of any positives or negatives in relation to overall operations within the After School Program, and to make fair suggestions for improvement
- Ability to listen to children and patiently try to build a rapport with them without becoming emotional
勤務時間・曜日:

• An average of 10~20 work hours per week
• Required Shift: Mondays 15:00 to 16:00 (1 hour or more)
• Required Shift: Tuesdays 14:15 to 18:15 (4 hours or more)
• Required Shift: Wednesdays 15:00 to 16:00 (1 hour or more)
• Additional hours to be discussed, such as Mondays 9:00~18:00 (8 hours with 1 hour break)
• Optional: Additonal hours/shifts as support staff are also available and can be discussed during the initial online zoom interview
• Optional: We may request you work on a weekend (Saturday/Sunday) during special school events, etc. but you are not required to commit to hours other than your shifts on weekdays

待遇・福利厚生:
Round-trip transportation fees from your residential address to the place of work (our Minami-Azabu campus) will be paid for distances more than 2km one way. Transportation coverage is limited to JPY 1,000 per day (roundtrip).
