As a Host/Hostess at Caruso, A Belmond hotel you are part of a team that create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. In this role your primary objective is to show our guests such a marvellous time that they will want to return again. Reports to Restaurant Manager


Primary Responsibilities Include:


  • Answering the telephone and booking reservations;
  • Monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables;
  • Estimating wait times for guests and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting;


Requirements
What You Bring:


  • Fluent in English and Italian. Third language required,French preferred.
  • Base knowledge of Italian gourmet cuisine
  • Detail and guest care oriented.
  • Flexibility and ability to effectively adjust to major changes in work tasks or the work environment.
  • Character and passion: skilled at engaging audience.
