Dematic is looking for a talented Software Project Manager to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Cernusco Sul Naviglio. He/She will work with an international Software Team in order to develop applications for automated warehouses management based on our proprietary advanced framework.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What will you do in this role?

• Ensure that assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Ensuring the client satisfaction and an excellent relationship management with him.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the project execution
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and project reporting
• Risk management

What are we looking for?
A Senior candidate with the following features:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering field
• 2/3 years of working experience as IT or SW Project Manager
• Previously experience also as SW Programmer or Analyst
• Good technical background in J2EE applications development and framework knowledge (EJB, CDI, JMS and JPA)
• Good knowledge of the Spring framework (Boot, MVC, JPA, Hibernate)
• Experience with application servers (JBoss/Wild Fly, Glassfish)
• Knowledge of control version systems (CVS, SVN, GIT) and project management tools (Maven, Ant)
• Skills on Junit or other relevant test frameworks
• Good knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL)
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Availability to travel (30/40% of the time mainly in Italy)
• PMP certification is a plus

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in warehouse logistics and/or industrial automation domains
• Web services implementation (REST, SOAP, WSDL, …)
• Virtualization environments (VMWare , Docker, …)
• Previous experience with agile development (Scrum)
