Deep Instinct is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our growing team!
This position is based in Tel-Aviv and is reporting to the VP Accounting.
The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for leading the Global Payroll operation in Israel and International territories.

The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for leading the Global Payroll operation in Israel and International territories.
- Ownership of the end-to-end payroll process for Israel and International markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness – all also in coordination with outsourcing vendors.
- Prepare and support the monthly payroll process, including preparation of the monthly payroll information, approval of the monthly pay slips, reconciliation, preparation and posting of the monthly payroll entry in Net Suite.
- Ensure all payments to employees and payroll related institutions are made on time and accurately.
- Lead the payroll process and be accountable for all aspects, including but not limited to on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, support and working with pensions insurance providers, leave of absence and vacation balance management, military service claims and any ad-hoc tasks.
- Oversee the Israeli option plan. Including grants and exercises, working with the trustee and more.
- Oversee the employee reimbursement via concur and travel apps. Post entries in Net Suite accordingly.
- Month-end Support - prepare and review the monthly payroll expenses, ensure completeness and accuracy of data, and prepare an analytical report.
- Ensure payroll compliance with company policy, with local tax legislation and on-time reporting and payments to local Social Security and Tax authorities.
- Serving as the main point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for all payroll-related matters and employees’ related inquiries.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all payroll and financial data.
Requirements:
- Certified Payroll Accountant in Israel – mandatory.
- Certificate bookkeeper advantage.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience leading Payroll and related processes in Global International Tech Companies.
- Experience in processing payroll and working with external payroll providers (mainly Hashavim).
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation in Israel.
- Experience in working with global payroll providers like Mazars.
- In-depth knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor code and social benefits in global territories.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute multi-tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, service oriented.
- Ability to work and solve problems independently.
