Required skills:
- Proven experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary technical teams, including geographically distributed and remote teams deployed across multiple customer environments
- Strong technical background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and emerging technologies such as serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions) and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Deep understanding of Agile and Dev Ops frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or Atlassian Suite
- Experience with data-driven decision-making using analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, leveraging insights to improve performance and operational efficiency
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration and edge computing technologies to meet evolving customer needs
- Proven experience managing cloud operations in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and governance
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and technologies
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Cloud Watch, or Splunk)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and ensure alignment between customer and internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed technical teams, fostering collaboration and innovation across remote and in-person environments
- Utilize collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to ensure team cohesion, engagement, and productivity in hybrid work settings
- Build team capabilities and ensure alignment with project objectives and customer requirements
- Manage performance, set clear objectives, and track progress using key metrics
- Act as a key point of contact for customer-deployed teams, ensuring alignment with client goals
- Develop and oversee operational processes tailored for customer-deployed teams
- Ensure seamless integration of customer-deployed teams with internal operations
- Establish SLAs and manage adherence to customer-specific requirements
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers to understand their evolving needs
- Provide regular updates on team performance, addressing customer feedback proactively
- Serve as an escalation point for customer-deployed teams, resolving issues swiftly and effectively
- Collaborate with technical leads to ensure delivery excellence across cloud operations, software development, and automation projects
- Oversee the application of best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance in customer environments including containerization, serverless computing, and edge technologies
- Champion the adoption of innovative technologies such as AI/ML to meet customer and business objectives
- Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and ensure alignment with Agile and Dev Ops principles for faster and more reliable delivery
- Partner with senior leadership to align team objectives with business goals
- Contribute to strategic planning for scaling technical operations and team structures
