The Role:
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests to The Athlone Springs Hotel.
Reporting to:You will report to the Front Office Manager.
The Person:We are looking for a friendly and professional individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail.

Situated in Co. Westmeath, a region renowned for its significant commercial and marketing hubs, The Só Hotel Group bought The Athlone Springs Hotel in 2019, having first opened its doors in 2007. Key Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests upon arrival and providing a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
• Handling reservations, room assignments, and special requests.
• Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information.
• Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
• Assisting guests with luggage and coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.
• Handling billing and payment processes accurately.
• Resolving guest issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Keeping up-to-date with hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a hotel receptionist or similar role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace.
• Must be Flexible to work midweek & weekends as needed .
• A welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
