Graduate Mechanical Engineer - 2025 Graduate Programme

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Arup, you will:
- Undertake Thermal and Building Regulation Compliance modelling using IESVE or other similar software
- Complete the design of HVAC and Public Health Systems within buildings
- Use of Revit to develop designs and tender and contract information.
- Prepare mark-ups and work with other design team members to progress holistic design of the project in question.
- Prepare and input to decarbonisation strategies for buildings with respect to both operational and embodied carbon
- Represent Arup at meetings with the client, other consultants and/or contractors
- Conduct site visits and structural investigations
- Prepare reports, presentations and site reports
- Carry out analysis of new technologies and how they can be incorporated into our projects to ensure a sustainable and robust design
Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for graduates who are currently pursing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (NFQ Level 8/9 or equivalent and recognised by Engineers Ireland to permit future Chartership)

- Prior experience or internships in the field of building design
