The Position:
Swyft Energy are currently recruiting a Financial Assistant reporting to our Financial Controller. The appointed candidate will be a key member of the team.
The Role:
In our high paced Finance and Operations departments, we work closely with suppliers, sub-contractors, and our customers to deliver high-quality products and service in a consistent manner. As we look to further growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to assist our Finance, Sales, Operational and technology teams in delivering their targets.
The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and work with the Swyft Energy team on all matters of finance, seeking out cost savings and margin enhancement.
Responsibilities include: -

• Sales Revenue – controlling the approval of sales invoices & monthly revenue.
• Accounts receivable Managing various payment platforms & updating customer accounts.
• Process and file all revenue returns (VAT, RCT).
• Prepare payroll for employees and contractors.
• Manage financial administrative roles.

· Perform Bank Reconciliations
· Assist in preparation of monthly accounts.
· Processing supplier invoices in a timely manner.
· Process Employee expenses
· Materials tracking, monitoring, and reconciling, including inventory management.
· Provide administration support.
· Produce business intelligence reports using the Microsoft toolset and excel.
· Identify process and system improvements pertaining to finance.

Qualifications and Skills: -

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related discipline
• 3-5 years’ experience in a finance role
• Experience with financial software packages
• Motivated self-starter with the determination and drive to succeed
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Accuracy and eye for detail
• Prioritise work based on business and statutory needs.
• Ability to identify and drive new processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working in a start-up company previously would be a distinct advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €1.00-€2.00 per year
