We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our Irish arm, ensuring the smooth and strategic management of our financial resources.

The Role:
As Finance Manager, you will have full responsibility for all aspects of Sheenco Travel’s financial operations in Ireland. You will work closely with our US-based CFO, taking ownership of financial strategy, compliance, reporting, and operations. This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Ireland while leading a vital department of our growing international team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with Sheenco’s goals and ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
  • Accounting & Reporting: Oversee all accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Irish regulations.
  • Budget Management: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive informed decision-making across the business.
  • Tax & Compliance: Manage tax filings, audits, and compliance with Irish financial laws and regulations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring the company meets its financial obligations and maintains operational excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance and fostering strong relationships with Sheenco’s international team.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
  • Experience in an Irish SME is essential
  • Deep understanding of Irish financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, cash flows, and financial reporting in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working with remote and international teams.
  • Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is an advantage but not essential.
