Join the Close Brothers Motor Finance Team where you will drive lead generation, enhance the customer journey, and boost conversions from third-party digital platforms by optimising relationships with existing marketplace partners and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
The successful candidate will improve the end-to-end digital experience for customers looking to finance vehicles through third-party sites and exploring new revenue streams for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for third-party marketplaces.
  • Ensuring strong relationships and optimising the performance of current partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with these partners to understand their platforms and how our finance offerings are presented.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with key partners, ensuring targets for lead generation and conversions are met or exceeded.
Customer Journey Optimisation:
  • Map the ideal customer journey from discovery to proposal submission across each platform.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies between the ideal customer journey and the current experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, and sales) to recommend and implement enhancements that improve the user experience and increase proposal generation and conversion rates.
Lead Generation & Conversion:
  • Analyse lead quality and conversion data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase the volume and quality of leads generated through third-party platforms.
  • Track and report on the performance of these initiatives, adjusting as necessary to maximize ROI.
Product Development & New Opportunities:
  • Collaborate with partners to explore potential new products or services that could enhance customer engagement and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in motor finance and automotive marketplaces, identifying potential new third-party partners or digital platforms where the company could expand its presence.
Market Analysis & Business Development:
  • Proactively research and identify new third-party websites, marketplaces, or apps where motor finance products could be showcased.
  • Present business cases for new partnerships, including estimated lead generation and ROI forecasts.
  • Negotiate partnership terms and work with key internal stakeholders/departments and procurement to formalise agreements.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Utilise data analytics to assess partner performance, customer behaviour, and key metrics such as leads, proposals, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Report on findings, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and IT teams to ensure alignment on partnership goals and implementation of agreed initiatives.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are regularly updated on partnership performance and new opportunities.
Regulatory, Risk & Compliance:
  • Assess, identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance to applicable internal policies, industry Codes and external regulation e.g. consumer credit, financial crime and data protection.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF HAVE/ARE:
  • Experience in digital marketing, partnerships, or business development, ideally within the automotive, financial services, or digital marketplace sectors.
  • Proven experience managing third-party partnerships, with a track record of driving lead generation and conversion growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys, UX/UI principles, and conversion optimisation.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to track performance and guide decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the motor finance industry and digital automotive marketplaces in Ireland is a plus.
