Reporting to: Restaurant General Manager
Position objective:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards in service, quality, and cleanliness. This role involves managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operational Support: Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and timely execution of all tasks.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and uphold restaurant standards.
- Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food and beverages meet quality standards and are served according to company guidelines.
- Staff Scheduling: Assist in staff scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage while managing labour costs effectively.
- Inventory Management: Help monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering stock and minimising waste.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Support the Restaurant General Manager in tracking expenses, managing budgets, and achieving financial targets.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly address operational issues or emergencies and find practical solutions.
Pay depending on experience.
