About The Role

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing Account Management to clients across a number of contracts with regular travel between client sites.
Key Responsibilities of an Area Manager:

Ensure contracts are operating to specification by conducting site visits, conducting regular Health and Safety audits
Retention of all existing contracts, ensuring protection of our margin
Identification of new business opportunities to include both hard and soft services
Create and maintain a profitable service delivery model for all contracts to include integration of bundled services where possible
Operational project management of all new business contracts awarded
Assume financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Operations Manager on the Profit & Loss account to include wages, equipment, consumables, etc.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction to site teams
Performance management and development of site teams in conjunction with HR
Ensure the business sector is fully compliant with Industry Standards, relevant employment legislation, JLC requirements, ISO and Company policies and procedures
Prioritise health and safety at all levels
Communication with the Operations Support team regarding rostering of contracts, ensuring overtime is kept to an absolute minimum
Conduct training, conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
Actively participate in Industry Awards

Essential Criteria of an Area Manager:

Excellent communication and problem solving skills with extensive experience in client relationship management
Excellent pc skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
A valid Visa enabling you to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
Fluent English, both written and spoken
