HVAC Applied Sales engineer for Hungary

As HVAC Applied Sales engineer you will be responsible for driving sales throughout the region of Hungary to maximize market share, revenue, and profit, whilst ensuring sustainable growth for both, our YORK Distribution channel partners and JCI Applied Indirect business unit.
How you will do it
- Executing the YORK distribution sales strategy in alignment with the regional sales & distribution managers
- Developing, supporting, and maintaining trustful relationships with existing YORK channel partners (distributors, mid-market contractors and/or HVAC installers and/or consultants) to enable them to jointly achieve or even exceed the goals and/or identifying and prospecting new distribution channel partners maximizing the territory sales and service coverage by line of products.
- Provide assistance to channel partners by providing product knowledge, Base of Design and pricing assistance (i.e. Review drawings, plans, schedules, engineering specifications and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates), as well as sales & product coaching and training.
- Support in business development and marketing activities as well as lead generation initiatives and overall customer satisfaction by actively seeking out new opportunities and routes to market, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.
- Promote the Johnson Controls & YORK value proposition by providing business and technical solutions, ensuring channel partners and their key consultants are covered and drive growth of basis-of-design as well.
- Champion the needs of the customers, identifying and analyzing market opportunities, assist with competitive product research including competitive price, performance and feature analysis and overview strengths and weaknesses compared to competitors. Coordinate these requirements with other disciplines within the organization.
- Forecast and report actuals business sales volumes, as requested frequency, for different line of products and accounts
- Execute the sales process and sales discipline to achieve the sales excellence.
- Work as One Team within the Company.
What we look for
- Sales personality with proven record delivering results in sales
- At least btw. three and five years successfully specifying, designing and selling HVAC Applied solutions: Chillers/Heat pump, Terminal Units, Air Handling Units, Rooftop units …
- Great skills to support & train distributors to boost joined growth
- Ability to work to targets and KPI’s and self-monitor own performance.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills. Salesforce CRM knowledge is a plus.
- Availability to travel within the assigned territory
