Project Title: Recent Trends and Accomplishments of Religious Literature Studies in Western
Sinology


[Appointment Period: 24 months]


The appointee will work under the project investigator to conduct academic research work.
Responsibilities include English-Chinese translation, preparing reports, coordinating conferences,
research seminars, forums and other activities, teaching related work, liaising with internal and
external parties, and academic research of the appointee’s agenda.

Applicants should have a Doctoral Degree in Chinese literature, Chinese linguistics, Sinology, or a
related discipline. He/she should also have a high proficiency in written and spoken English and
Chinese, good interpersonal, communication, IT, time management, and problem-solving skills. The
successful appointee is expected to conduct independent research and publish papers in academic
journals.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
