Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team on research projects related to gastrointestinal and hepatology disease areas
- Manage clinical trial projects, including subject recruitment, data collection, conduct assessment on subjects
- May need to process human stool samples and handle other biological specimens
- Involves in gut microbiota statistical analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Possess a Ph.D. degree with extensive research background, preferably in life science, biomedical science, public health or health-related disciplines
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
- A strong sense of responsibility
- Strong troubleshooting skills and effective collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently with high motivation
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
