Part-time Student Research Assistant in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530676) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should be undergraduate students. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluent Cantonese), good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. They should be detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively in a team. Experience in statistical analysis would be an advantage.
The appointee will work on a community-based ophthalmic epidemiology studies. He/She will assist in fieldwork, recruit participants, collect data and samples, conduct questionnaire interviews, prepare study materials and reports, and perform other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided. Working irregular hours and off-campus may be required.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
