Part-time Research Officer
Department of Government and International Affairs
(Post Ref.: 24/433)

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the research project entitled “Political Economy of China's Local Governments' Energy Transition”
  • Assist in data collection, data cleaning, preliminary analysis
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator

Requirements
  • Skills of web scraping, data cleaning, visualization
  • Knowledge of and experience quantitative social science research are welcome
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A strong sense of responsibility
  • Effective communication skills
  • Applicants should submit a full Curriculum Vitae, the latest transcript, and a writing sample

Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointee is expected to meet the Project Investigator regularly to report the progress.
