Java Team Lead - Logistic industry

Location: Lantau Island, Hong Kong SAR
Duties:
- Lead a development team in providing production support and delivering projects for our cargo handling systems.
- Conduct technical analysis and system design to enhance system performance.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for mission-critical applications.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and developers at our offshore development center.
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of application development experience, with at least 3 years in a team leader role.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in:
- Java, Spring Framework, Web Logic, Tomcat
- Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and database management
- Dev Ops practices, version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN), Maven, and JIRA
- Multi-tier and high-availability system architecture
- Ability to work independently in a flexible and dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and commitment to achieving high-quality results.
- Previous experience in cargo handling systems or 4+ years of development experience in large-scale, mission-critical systems is a definite advantage.
