BJ Automotive is a Hong Kong based company providing R&D and Manufacturing service to Global Automotive Brands.

Job description:
Lead and establish product development system that meets functional safety and related regulations, plan, organize, and promote functional safety work throughout the product life cycle;

Responsible for the functional safety design and the development activities in the functional safety concept stage;

Responsible for functional safety design preparation and management and maintenance of related documents;

Responsible for functional safety review and assessment, including supplier assessment;

Participate in Item definition and complete HARA;

Responsible for improving the functional safety hardware and software interface specifications (HSI);

Participate in electronic and electrical architecture design, complete FSC, and clarify requirements for suppliers and other internal teams;

Support system development activities and solve functional safety issues in design;

Responsible for establishing, cultivating and maintaining the company’s safety culture;

Support software/hardware engineers to complete the development of functional safety software/hardware stages.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above, majoring in automotive engineering, mechanical/information/electrical/software engineering or related majors;

More than 5 years of functional safety/system/software/hardware experience, with project delivery experience;

More than 2 years of experience in functional safety design and product development based on IS026262;

Familiar with ISO 26262, 16949, ASPICE standards, processes and corresponding documents, and have an understanding of industry technology development trends;

Proficient in using various functional safety analysis and verification methods, and good at analysis methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA and HAZ0P;

Familiar with the functional safety development process and functional safety related tools;

Those with functional safety certification will be highly preferred.

Candidate with less experience will be also considered.
