Enterprise Data Engineering Manager

- Lead a team in the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data modeling applications and enterprise data engineering capabilities
- Support the Corporation’s data governance framework by upholding high standards of data quality and implementing robust security protocols in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements to protect the Corporation's data assets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and business users to effectively formulate and implement strategies and data science initiatives, optimizing data architecture
- Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, select the appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of solutions
- Provide valuable insights on the seamless integration with analytical and decision-making processes, and oversee the development and integration of data solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of the final solution
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies, integrating them into the Corporation's data ecosystem to maintain cutting-edge operations

- Degree in Data Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Computer Science or a related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in data engineering, of which at least 2 years should be at managerial / senior supervisory level
- Proven track record in leading and implementing data modelling initiatives
- Proficiency in Azure data tools, along with familiarity in Python, R, and Java, is required. Experience with Hadoop, No SQL, and the Spark family is preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
