We are looking for an ambitious Human Resources Officer to contribute to the organization, management, and development of our human resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management, with expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations, and supporting staff professional growth. Experience in non-profit organizations, along with knowledge of labor law compliance and HR best practices, will be considered a significant asset.

We are looking for an ambitious Human Resources Officer to contribute to the organization, management, and development of our human resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management, with expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations, and supporting staff professional growth. Experience in non-profit organizations, along with knowledge of labor law compliance and HR best practices, will be considered a significant asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing support in daily operations and processes related to all aspects of HR management
- Assisting in ensuring organizational compliance with labor, legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements pertaining to HR management
- Supporting management and departments in the development and revision of HR-related policies and procedures
- Organizing and maintaining employee records/files and electronic databases (e.g., recruitment, promotions, leaves, terminations, etc.)
- Providing support throughout the full cycle of the recruitment process (e.g., job descriptions, job postings, CV collection and screening, interview scheduling, final candidate selection, etc.)
- Assisting in the onboarding process for new employees, including supporting the drafting, updating, and management of employment contracts and amendments
- Supporting the development and implementation of employee performance evaluation processes
- Assisting in the organization, design, and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and improve performance
- Coordinating, managing, and supporting the recruitment, training, and integration of volunteers and interns within the organization
- Managing Human Resources Information System (HRIS) software
- Providing support in addressing daily employee inquiries and handling routine HR-related matters
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Maintains confidentiality and upholds ethical standards in accordance with the organization’s policies
- Adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics for integrity in all procurement activities
- Refers to the HR Manager of the organization
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Business Administration, etc.)
- Specialization or Master's degree in Human Resource Management is considered an asset
- Proven relevant work experience of at least 2 years
- Excellent command of English (C2 level), both spoken and written
- Proficient in computer skills and MS Office applications
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Knowledge of labor law and the application of regulations related to labor relations
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) software. Knowledge of Softone is preferred
- Experience in supporting and managing volunteers and interns (internship programs)
- Knowledge of the NGO sector
