Information Technology is vital for the success and growth of our businesses at Stoiximan. Our IT Managers must be accountable, highly skilled, and capable in crisis and stakeholder management. They should possess the ability to prioritize and communicate IT business needs to technical and non-technical stakeholders. These competencies are essential for managing IT operations at a regional level, while fostering close collaboration and alignment across our global business.
The Head of IT will manage the IT infrastructure, with primary responsibilities including IT management, IT security and the smooth operation of the company's computer and information systems. This role also involves managing regional offices, IT staff and computer-related needs, such as telephony, laptop management and printing. As the custodian of all designated regional IT projects and implementation of customized systems, the Head of IT will implement customized systems and collaborate with other IT Managers, IT Project Managers, and senior leadership to ensure the successful delivery of these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Head of IT, you will:

• Manage region-wide systems and information.
• Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercial and local IT business initiatives, fostering effective communication and strategic alignment.
• Ensure that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
• Orchestrate the set-up and maintenance of hardware and employee equipment (laptops, monitors, peripherals, etc.), including asset management.
• Manage vendor relationships and regional supplier services management, including contracts and service agreements.
• Serve as the IT single point of contact regionally for Technology, Facilities, Commercial, Security, and Compliance.
• Handle in-country escalation management and provide support for all IT operations.
• Conduct regular system IT audits and maintain IT security standards.
• Supervise daily IT operations and assist with network and infrastructure related needs.
• Manage infrastructure elements related to employee experience across premises (e.g. IT, conferencing, facilities etc).
• Evaluate risk, develop network recovery and backup processes for the regional offices.
• Implement security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems.
• Perform regular checks on network and data security.
• Produce a monthly regional report on IT projects, service and operational activities.
• Manage IT Projects, oversee the IT budget, forecast, and enforce cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Oversee and manage timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
• Manage and handle monthly reporting of IT budget expenditure, forecast and risks.
• Provide direction for IT team members.
• Handle stakeholder management.

What you'll bring:
Experience:

• 10+ years of IT operations experience.
• 5+ years in IT department supervision or team leadership.
• Proven track record in leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of network, system, and architectural processes.
• Proficiency in at least two IT areas: networking, IT support, systems administration, software engineering, or IT project management.
• Experience with installations, upgrades, and system maintenance.
• ITIL certification (preferred) or at least 5 years of IT service management experience.

Leadership Abilities:

• Ability to assess and recruit top candidates, train new IT staff, and motivate team members for high performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Confident and capable of working under pressure and collaborating with senior management.

Soft Skills:

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable and quick to learn new technologies.
• Collaborative and able to explain complex systems in an accessible manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications or academic qualifications.
• Gaming industry experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required.
