Purpose of Job:
The Customer Service Representative interacts with customers on behalf of the company. They connect with customer to handle complaints, process orders and provide information. If the information received generated Sales Leads this is shared with the Sales Force with the goal of generating a sale.
Key Activities:
- Customer Management
- Follows up on on-time resolution of Claims, within the agreed time frame of the procedure.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with customer accounts with open and interactive communication.
- Make it easy and pleasant to do business with VCP.
- Main channel of communication with customers to update order status like
- Checking and changing delivery dates with customer
- Order Management
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests
- Checking order credit status and follow up with credit department keeping Account Managers informed.
- Administration & Accurate Record Keeping:
- Keep records of interactions with customers.
- CRM master data maintenance (changing names, delivery addresses, COA addresses, etc).
- Sending COA, technical data sheets and other supporting documents
- Team Player
- Keep clear and good collaboration between functions (Sales, GRSC, Credit Control)

- Customer Focus – Consistently responds to internal and external customer’s requests to properly identify and resolve concerns. Understands how their job impacts the work processes of others.

- Decision Making & Judgement – Assess the importance, urgency and risk associated with each situation and takes actions which are timely and in the best interest of the company.
- Communications – Effectively presents and receives information both orally and in writing. Listens and gets clarification. Participates well in meetings.
- Team Player – Works cooperatively, interfaces effectively; gains confidence and trust of others; recognizes strengths and limitations of self and others; focuses on performance of others rather than personality.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A college degree is required with a preference for a focus on logistics or business.
- 3 years of working experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- German (native/near native) and English (fluent)
