We are Envoria, a Green Tech startup from Munich and we're offering a smart Saa S solution that enables companies to comply with all European ESG regulations, including EU Taxonomy, ESRS or CSRD.

As we grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to join our developers team. In this role you will gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance (QA) and you will contribute to ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software product.

Good to know:
Minimum hours per week: 12hrs
The hourly wage in the 1st year is 16€, 17€ in the 2nd year and 18€ in the 3rd year.
PS: The position can be done 100% from your home office in Germany!

Your Tasks

• Manual Testing: Execute manual tests to identify software defects, usability issues, and ensure that applications meet quality standards
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Document and report software issues clearly and accurately using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, and collaborate with developers to resolve them
• Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests to ensure that fixes and new features do not adversely affect existing functionality
• Performance Testing: Assist in testing software for speed, scalability, and stability under various conditions
• Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test plans, test reports, and user guides

Your Profile

• You have a true hands-on mentality: You want to actively advance your topics and are not interested in day-to-day "business as usual"
• You are studying computer science, business informatics or a similar subject
• You have at least a basic understanding of testing processes
• You are familiar with QA tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA)
• You are experienced with programming or scripting languages (e.g., React)
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You have an excellent attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly
• Big Plus: You have basic knowledge of one of the following standards and regulations: GRI, SASB, GHG Protocol, CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy
