What you will enjoy doing

Development and maintenance of internal software for the prediction of physical properties
Adaptation of the physical and physicochemical experimental data in the software models used from the literature, commercial databases or own data sources
Storage of pure chemical compounds as well as the physical and physicochemical data of pure substances and mixtures in the database
Includes data such as chemical names, molecular weight, molecular formula, chemical structure, CAS no. and critical point, triple point, vapour pressure, phase equilibria, enthalpies, heat capacities, densities, surface tension
Support of the data extraction process from data sources using multiple large language models (LLM)
Evaluation and comparison of productive data for different capabilities of four LLMSs

What makes you great

You are enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences in the field of thermodynamics, thermal engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry or similar
Initial experience with experimental measurement techniques and corresponding uncertainty calculation methods round off your profile
You also have experience with basic IT tools for data processing (text editors, Office, databases, xml, JSON)
Ideally, you have already gained experience with advanced IT tools (regular expressions, SQL, programming languages (e.g. Python), XML/JSON schemas)
You are characterised by an independent way of working
Quality awareness and a team-orientated way of working are among your strengths
Very good German and English skills round off your profile
